Kathleen C. This shirt was an excellent purchase. Besides it being a very soft, good quality and well fitting shirt, it attracts lots of attention with its sentiment (folks chuckle at the word ‘tailwaggers’) which, after they always read it out loud, prompts them to ask where it’s from. Love it because that’s my cue to start in with the praises for Best Friends and their no-kill mission. This shirt has become my summer fave - I can’t get it in and out of the wash fast enough! I would agree, though, with the customer who said the dog graphic gets lost being so dark, but it’s the message that really counts and that stands out brilliantly. A seriously fun shirt.

Yvonne I love this shirt but understand about the other reviews saying the dog graphic is lost. It’s almost impossible to see. But I knew when I bought it there might be an issue. Nothing that can’t be fixed with a little fabric paint to give it more contrast. Love that the proceeds go to Best Friends. Thank you for all you do.

TMR It is soft. Cute saying, the colors don't stand out against the color of the shirt as much as I would like for them too. Multiple times, I have had people say, 'What does your shirt say?' The colors are just too close in range to be noticeable. It runs big, which was odd as BF shirts tend to run small so I ordered accordingly. I exchanged it for the right size, but had to pay for shipping to send it back. They said that they were working on getting size charts for all apparel on the website. This would be extremely valuable as I had the same issue with another shirt as well as my husband's shirt as it was a Christmas gift and no way to check the size without ruining the surprise. We just kept his and hopefully it will shrink a bit. I understand that BF is a nonprofit and I love everything they stand for a do, but with no size chart to go off of, it was a bit annoying to have to pay to send it back, but I was told that was my only option.

We want to thank you for your feedback and apologize that the shirt wasn't what you were expecting. We understand it can be unexpected to pay for return shipping on an item because the big online companies have gotten us used to free shipping both ways. At Best Friends we are a nonprofit where every dollar goes directly to the animal so this is why we don't do free shipping.
We are working to get more size chart from our vendors and I will pass that feedback onto the people who do our ordering.

Ellen M Van Riper The fabric of this shirt is too flimsy, and the garment seems better suited as a sleep shirt than for daily wear. The design does not show well, especially the black dog.
