Linda I am very excited to have the Best Friends cookbook. I have volunteered at Best Friends for five years. A highlight is always the delicious meals served at the Angel Village café for an amazing price of $5.00. Everything I've had is so good! The cookbook starts with great tips for stocking your pantry to better enable vegan cooking - so helpful! I haven't made any of the recipes yet, but I promise I will!

Robin D I've been a vegetarian a little over 3 years, seeking out recipes on the internet. I don't know why I never bought a cookbook, but I'm glad I got this one. The dishes are more creative than most things I've found online, and really good too. Bonus, stories from people at Best Friends about the animals. It's a win-win!

Rudy Trahan Having personally experienced the Sanctuary cafe lunches, I was thrilled to be able to purchase the Best Friends Cookbook as a “just cuz” gift to college granddaughters that reside in an off-campus apartment and are practicing the vegan lifestyle. Preliminary reports are they look forward to trying some of those recipes as alternatives to their current menu options.
