I just started reading it 2 days ago and am 1/2 way through. I'm enjoying the book so much that I don't want to read it too fast and reach the end. It is written in such a way that I feel like I know these people, really know them personally. I'm sending the 2nd book to my sister in Ga. who is undergoing treatment for cancer. I'm sure she will enjoy the read as much as I am. I've talked to her about Best Friends many times, now she'll get to know what I've been talking about all of these years. Great read. I wish I had a DVD player so I could order the Victory Dogs CD.
I purchased this book for my 87 year old father and he loved it ! He loved it so much that he had me plan a trip to Utah to visit the sanctuary in June 2019. We will try to plan a trip again to visit the new hotel with his doggy, Jack.
I have purchased two of these books as gifts and my friends love it!
