Carole Higgins I ordered this heart chew toy for my almost 2-year-old standard Schnauzer. She enjoys chewing on toys so thought she’d enjoy this one. I also love everything hearts. But once I gave it to her and she began chewing on it, I was fearful the “threads” that make up the heart would cause her intestinal issues so took it from her. Sorry but I truly don’t want to have more health issues to deal with than I’m already trying to handle. It’s a great idea as the threads could serve as “doggie dental floss” but I doubt that would be the case. If anyone else has purchased this and knows it is indeed safe I’d love to hear that reassurance. Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts about this toy. Of course we don't want any of our products to cause medical issues for your Schnauzer, or anyone's pets. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration; the description mentions 'light chewers' and supervision recommended, but we'll look into getting more details about the safety of the fibers if/when ingested.

Stephanie Sokol Our dog loves rope toys and we thought this would be a good option for him. The heart broke apart pretty quickly so now it's a long rope; however that doesn't stop him from playing with it. We are happy to support Best Friends.

Gail Kasovac The rope heart toy is about half the size of the dog. I thought perhaps it would take her a while to get used to it. She picked it up and played with it immediately. She plays fetch with it everyday. Perfectly sturdy for the smaller and medium dogs that are not big chewers.

Stephanie Stachewicz Bought the heart roped toy/chew as a gift for my friend's dog. Well, needless to say she absolutely loved it and started to devour it with the threads torn apart. My friend put it in the freezer and upon giving it back to her dog...the dog loved it even more. Today, it is still around and the dog still plays with what is left of it....especially after it is put in the freezer. Thanks for the excellent choice of a gift.
