What do you get when you mix an Arabian with an American Saddlebred? An extremely beautiful and sensitive but challenging horse. So challenging, in fact, that Jewel’s person surrendered her to the Sanctuary so she could get the specialized training she needs to thrive. With lots of TLC and patience from her caregivers, Jewel is on the road to becoming a sweet, people-pleasing horse. She’s not rideable and has some special needs, but she is slowly becoming her best self.
