Frankie came to Best Friends from one of our network partners in Utah, where he had been a bit of a handful. When he’s overexcited, he can get jumpy and mouthy, but sometimes it’s hard to tell what riled him up in the first place. And training him is challenging because he’s deaf and partially blind. On the other hand, it’s readily apparent that golf cart rides, toys and water are high on his list of favorite things. And people — Frankie absolutely loves people. In fact, sometimes he can be a little over the top with his enthusiasm. His caregivers are working with him on taking things down a notch so he can better manage his impulses.
