Barbara Lansdowne This original ornament is beautifully hand painted, with lots of detail. The scene depicts a dog and cat on a whimsical moonscape. The colors are pretty and muted, (as they would look in moonlight). I really love this ornament! What a great way to support Best Friends!!

Carol Pook Best Friends is one of my daughter's favorite places! She first learned about it as a kid from the TV program, "Dogtown" and fell in love with Best Friends' mission and philosophy. When she graduated from high school, we celebrated with a visit to volunteer at Best Friends. Four years later, after graduating from college she returned to Best Friends for an awesome 5 week internship. Back in school for a second Bachelor's degree - this time in Animal Behavior, she finished final exams just in time for her birthday. This beautiful ornament, given as a birthday gift at breakfast time recalls her love for Best Friends, its mission and the influence it has had on her life.
