Does my purchase go towards supporting the animals at Best Friends?
Yes! When you shop at the Best Friends store, all proceeds will go right back into the work to save more lives.
Your generosity today will go the lifesaving distance, reaching homeless dogs and cats around the country.
What size should I buy?
If you’re unsure which size is right for you, please refer to the size charts provided on the product pages.
Can I cancel my order?
We strive to process your orders quickly so that you can receive your new Best Friends items as soon as possible. Due to this, there is a short window of time that an order can be canceled. We appreciate your understanding!
All orders that are received before 1:00 pm EST are usually processed and shipped the same day.
How do I fix the incorrect shipping and/or billing address on my order?
We strive to process your orders quickly so that you can receive your new Best Friends items as soon as possible! Due to this, there is a short window of time that an order can be adjusted after it has been placed.
- If your order was placed with the incorrect shipping address: Please contact us as soon as possible so we may look into updating it.
- If your order was placed with the incorrect billing address: We will need to cancel your order and have you place a new order. If your order has already been processed with the incorrect billing address, your card issuer did not find an error with the billing address provided and your order does not need to be adjusted.
Can I change the payment method on my order?
We are not able to change the payment method after an order has been placed. If your order has yet to be processed, we will cancel your order so that you may place a new order with a different payment method.
We strive to process your orders quickly so that you can receive your new Best Friends items as soon as possible, and due to this, there is a possibility we may not be able to cancel your order. We appreciate your understanding!
Returns & Exchanges
What is the refund policy?
Returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of the receipt of purchase. Items must return back to us unworn in their original condition, with all original tags attached.

How do I make a return?
We are sorry that the item(s) you received are not what you expected. It is important to us that you love the items you receive from the Best Friends Store, and we want you to know we appreciate you supporting the animals with your purchase! While we do accept returns for a refund, we always encourage an exchange rather than a return. However, we are happy to process a return when needed.
Return instructions below:
- First, ensure the item(s) you are returning are within 30 days of purchase and are in their original condition, with all original tags attached
- Package up your return and include the packing slip or a note, and write down the item you are returning for a refund
- Mail your return to: Best Friends Animal Society, 7300 Miller Drive, Warren, MI 48092
- Make sure to acquire your return tracking information from the shipping carrier
Once our fulfillment center has received and notified us of your return, we will process your return and issue a refund to the original payment method. You will receive a refund notification email to the email address used to place your order.

How do I make an exchange?
We are sorry that the item(s) you received are not working for you and we would be happy to process your exchange. It is important to us that you love the items you receive from the Best Friends Store, and we want you to know we appreciate you supporting the animals with your purchase!
Exchange instructions below:
- First, ensure the item(s) you are looking to exchange are within 30 days of purchase and are in their original condition, with all original tags attached
- Package up the item you would like to exchange and include the packing slip or a note, and write down the item you are exchanging and what you'd like in exchange
- Mail your return to: Best Friends Animal Society, 7300 Miller Drive, Warren, MI 48092
- Make sure to acquire your return tracking information from the shipping carrier
Once our fulfillment center has received and notified us of your returned item, we will process your exchange and create your new order. You will receive an order confirmation email to the email address used to place your original order.

How long does it take to receive a refund?
After we have issued your refund, you can expect to see it reflected in your bank account in 3-5 business days, depending on your personal bank's processing times.
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada. At this time, we do not ship overseas. However, this is something we would love to look into in the future!
My order says delivered, but I don't see it. What do I do?
It is possible your package has been marked as delivered before it has arrived.
However, we recommend checking the tracking history of your package to locate where it says it has been delivered. Also, check the area surrounding your mailbox and ask your neighbors if they've seen it.
Please let us know if your package has yet to be located after 48 hours. At that point, we can file a claim with the shipping carrier and create a replacement order for you.
