Gobi and her friends came to Best Friends when a federally funded sanctuary in Las Vegas closed due to government cutbacks. Because she needs long-term medical care, this brave and social gal can neither be adopted out nor released into the wild. But Gobi and the tortoises who arrived with her at the Sanctuary are in good hands. They’ll live out their lives in a special habitat built just for them.
