Kit and her brother, Caboodle, came to Best Friends in 2016 after they were found on the side of the road. Both dogs have a neurological condition that makes walking a bit difficult. Kit is as sweet as they come, though. She loves playing with her dog friends and rolling around in the snow. She also has an incredible nose; she’s been working on getting better at searching for specific scents. Because of her condition, she’ll need a special person who can accommodate her medical needs. By giving a gift of sponsorship to your friends or family, you can give some love to Kit and homeless pets across the country.

S.S. My nephews nine-year-old white German shepherd was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy earlier this year. For those unfamiliar with DM it is the canine version of ALS. It is only a matter of time before Jet leaves us for the Rainbow Bridge, And I can’t think of a better way of honoring Jet than helping another dog with a Neurological problem.
