Percy is a pooch with a roller coaster of a past. Before coming to the Sanctuary, he’d already been in and out of several homes — people would fall in love with his charming personality, only to be overwhelmed by just how much energy the little fellow has. As a herding dog, Percy wants to have a job and be busy all the time. And when he’s not, that excess energy easily turns into anxiety, which then can become misdirected at people, other animals, or even the tires of passing cars. It got him into trouble sometimes. But here at the Sanctuary, he has room to run and caregivers who make sure to keep his mind and body busy.
