Teresa Frazer I got this hat to use when kayaking. I have 2 other Best Friends hats like this but this one looked like it would offer more protection. It does NOT have anything to make the hat smaller so it will not blow off on a windy day. I have a small head so even with the chin strap it blows off my head. The other Best Friends bucket hats have a strap in the back to tighten it along with the chin strap. Good news it does float when it blows off your head while kayaking. I WOULD not purchase again with out something to make it smaller on a windy day!
